Michaelross
; Hello everyone, I look forward to communicating and learning from you. My story is not a great one... I am 46 years old and have led a life of irresponsibility due to a significant drug addiction that has plagued my decisions and life. I have gained control of my life and am beginning to look at the mess I have created. What I am doing here at the credit repair postings is to figure out where my starting point is.... To find what I have to/need to pay and what I can do to create the best possible credit situation for myself so that I can move forward in my life/in business for myself/to invest in what remains. And so, I ordered the three reports online though only successfully so with Experian ( Who told me that I needed to confirm a mortgage I never had in order to determine my identity, and then after receiving the online report it contained no such information). I have disputed all personal information and negative accounts currently and am awaiting replies. So, my question is... Is there anything else I should be doing with the report such as questioning the validity of inquiries into my report? And one more question... Why did Experian say I had a mortgage when in fact the report did not support this claim? Sincerely, moving forward.......... Michaelross

It doesn't mean they had one on your bureau.Welcome and congrats on your sobriety!
