hinky Posted July 13, 2007 Report Share Posted July 13, 2007 Nope, the rule is that they aren't supposed to continue collection activity on it before validating it. Continuing to report it (updating dates, not marking it as "consumer disputes") is considered continued collection activity; so is sending you more dunning letters without validating it first.
