jq26
GMAC, HSBC, ING, Emigrant, etc. All internet banks. If you're searching for high yield savings/checking, then that's where to go. Link to your brick and mortar bank account and then you can exchange funds when needed. Or cut out the brick and mortar bank altogether.
Kat99
Because I was in ChexSystems and could not get a bank accout through a "real" bank, I researched online banking and ended up opending an account with TriCentury bank. I was able to do my direct deposits and I obtained a visa debit card and never had a single problem with them in the whole 2 yrs I was w/them. I even had fraudulent charges on my card and they replaced the funds asap. Don't know if this is the type on internet bank you are looking for, but this bank worked for me very well. Here is the direct link to thier website: http://www.tricentury.com/

2ndTimeAround
I think ING is a true internet bank.http://home.ingdirect.com/Wife had ingdirect for years, their passbook savings were higher than other banks. She recently changed over to Teachers Credit Union.Personally I like BOA online banking, monitor checking, savings, boat loan, credit card, and stocks - from one web site........
