Fraggle J
I'm in the process of restoring my credit and and doing my DV'ing. I have about 13 items on there that I'm going to DV so I would like to know if I just write one letter to the bureaus with all the items I'm wanting to DV or if I just write them a letter per item? Thank you in advance. Also in terms of old payments should I include these in my initial letter or do a seperate letter? I would like to challenge some old late payments that are still showing up and see if I can get them added as current.
jetscarbie
I'm not really experience so to say...but I do have crappy credit. Some say to do it all on one and some say to split it up. I just depends on what you want to do. The old ones that you made payments on, just dispute that as being a paid account and I would just add them in. johnnyballgame24
I have heard and READ to split it up...otherwise they will suspect some wrong doing on your part and try to stall you. Make it look more real by doing 3 or 4 at a time.
whocares
I wrote one letter about incorrect information in my history, Like variations of my name and ss#The next letter I wrote about some of the oldest paid collections, said they were paid before collectionNext I wrote about a certain collection, that was paid, but I never lived in the city that claimed my collection, I wrote not mine.I did the same for hubbys file as well...not too many things at a timeWhen they come back I will see how the report looks and decide what to tackle next. These were just regular letters, handwritten. If they don't work I will write better letters next time

I group the disbutes that are similar together ( example lates, paid collections, satisfied colections, wrong information, etc).my $000.
bigjohnstud4200
IMO, I would dispute a few at a time, I usually do 4 to 6. The reason is because after you get some experience with credit repair, you will learn what works and what doesn't. If you blow your wad on one dispute, the next time you try to dispute something you already have, you might get the "we've verified this account already". kevin3344
Don't forget when you DV, that's for the CA. Dispute is for the CRA. I would DV each CA individually. Be sure to include the account number and other information.
