Amerikaner83 Posted July 12, 2007 Report Share Posted July 12, 2007 For most states, if you go to the state's website, they have a business licence / regulation area, you should be able to check there if they have a licence. Also, check your state's laws regarding consumer protection. Some states have laws that are better than Federal, and apparently there are some CAs that *actually break the law* (gasp!), or don't even know about specifics per state...it's another shot you can use.
