rebsgrl
I remember reading somewhere that when you dispute something with one CRA and they delete it the other 2 will delete it if you send them a copy of your dispute results. Is this true?
Master Debator
if you have info that clearly warrants deletion on one then theoretically it should work for the other 2 yesbut just because one CRA deletes something does not mean the other 2 will no
rebsgrl
Well that just plain sucks!
bigjohnstud4200
They will NOT accept any deletions from the other agencies. To top it off, say you disputed something with EX in 05 and it comes back verified then you dispute that same TL on TU in 07 and it get deleted. You can send a copy of the delete letter from TU to EX asking that they delete and they may tell you, "we've already verified this item and it stays". Jerks. isislc
I've tried it, doesn't work.
Ahntara
The CRA's are required by the FCRA to share info relating to ID/Theft and Fraud Alerts. In all other instances, they are three separate businesses who compete against each other (and don't like their competition). So, like others said, this isn't true and won't work.
