macroboy
a while back, a collection agency was calling and sending me mails over a $1700 debt (i ignored them as i did not owe any money and that the person who they were looking for had a similar name to mine ex- if my name was van t. wilder, the name they were looking for was vam o. wilder)..collection agency hired a law firm and they took me to court last year. the outcome was in my favor as i was not the person from the debt that they were trying to collect (different social security, etc)...i thought it was all over but recently i have been getting phone calls and mails from the same collection agency...what can i do? Amerikaner83
That's starting to sound like harassment to me......mail them back a nice FOAD letter. Thty ALREADY took "you" to court and lost. Tell them if they don't stop, YOU wil take THEM to court and WIN.
