jetscarbie
Some dispute stuff online, the telephone, Internet, or they mail. Some prefer one to the others. It's all your choice. Either way, dispute it as "not mine"I've never heard of either of those companies. Could they be utilities?
romadstud
no... they are listed as revolving credit, so i assume credit cards?... ones i didn't open to be sure... so i'm not sure where they came from... i just recently started fixing and even checking my credit report... so they have been there for a while... i disputed ex, but they came back validated... so i guess a dv would be the next step right? isislc
I have the same problem with an online store. Never bought from them, the account has never received a payment but according to them it is MY account. Too funny. I sent them a dispute letter after disputing with the CRA. We'll see what they come back with so I can count the violations.
romadstud
lol... well after checking my cr once more to make sure... the first, SST/COLUMBUS BANK&TRUS marked as charge off as of apr 06... and the second, TRS/CIGPF1CORP started reporting kd since may 06 to current... so it's sounding like a collection to me... any ideas how to fix? isislc
Dispute with the CRAs on both accounts first then follow up with a DV to the collection agency and a dispute with the OC once you get the response from the CRAs.
romadstud
i disputed both online through ex and both came back validated... so i guess next step is dv?... how long does that usually take?
