I just wanted to update my progress to date on my credit path.I came to these boards with excellent credit and was looking for a way to tweak my scores for maximum advantage and lose some inquiries. I have now used b to remove all Transunion inqs and was zero on Equifax until yesterday. Durn itchy fingers of mine convinced me to beat up on chase for a credit line increase after dusting off the sock drawer line. They pulled a hard of course and approved a bump up to 20K for a grand total of 76K in available revolving credit.xdancex:mrgreen:

Careful - too much credit can sometimes count against you......Good Luck...xdancex

I have over 100K credit if you count line of credit accounts and mortgages. The only accounts that I carry a balance on are my two mortgages. All cc debt is paid in full at statement date.

how much did the little repair you did increase your scores?

I didn't have any negatives to fight.Mainly my credit repair was to remove excess inquiries and add revolving debt since I had not owned a credit card in over five years. I am in a battle with my mortgage holder right now since they seem to have forgotten that mortgage is a joint account. My wife's scores took a ding after a mortgage with a nine and half year payment history went poof with absolutely no help from us. My scores have went up an average of 20 points per report just adding these accounts and removing my excess inqs. My latest scores are in my signature. They were about 8 points higher per bureau in March but took a little dip with four new accounts reporting.
