gorjus99
Hello Everyone,I'm so excited and blessed to have found this site. I must say persistence is the key to removing any derogatory off your credit report. Order the Sexy credit book and then customized it to your situation, bez the credit bureaus know the standard letters. I followed the book advise to the TEE. Most important is to never give up. Even if the credit bureau says they verified info. Write the Creditors to validate your dispute, 9 times out of 10 they don't have the time to follow up. Then hit them with your final demand letter if they ignore your Demand letter. Two things will happen for you - Law Suit or/and Remove Derogs off your credit report. It's all on this website. Keep seeking and you shall find. There's a scripture in the bible: Luke 11:8, yet because of his persistence, he will rise and give him as many as he needs. My scores went from 680 to 800 in 60 days. You can do it too, just don't give up.Gorjus 99xangelx
Moneedshelp
Wow, congratulations. I am trying to even get to you old scores. I had been haggling about ordering the book, but will certainly do it now. Thanks for the encouragement!!

isislc
I don't have the book but Ugh! Sometimes I feel like why should I bother. I hang in there though. My mom is sick and is living with me and my family in a 2 bedroom apt. I need my credit scores boosted so i can get a house for all of us to live in. PolarBearnCO
Write the Creditors to validate your dispute, 9 times out of 10 they don't have the time to follow up.I would definitely agree that perseverance helps, but I wouldn't give people too high of hope. In my situation, 9 out of 10 CAs DID VERIFY and respond to the DVs. Everyone's situation is different.I can't imagine you had much derogatory on your report if you already have scores near 700 before you even started poking around. Most of the people here are fighting to get above 500 or 600 and those that have done everything they can usually still have to wait a year or two before they can get to 680-700.Just posting this to keep it real. When 1% of the people here have the success you did, I don't want the other 99% to give up and say screw it. Credit repair takes time, sometimes 7 years. There's no magic button to push to make it all go away. You got lucky, and like I said, with scores at 680, you couldn't have had THAT much in the first place. A lot of the people around here are dealing with 20+ collections and dozens and dozens of lates. You were never in the ghetto with the rest of us. soulthoughts
That's awesome that you had such success however, I think it's important to reitarate what others have said....each situation is different. I've been at it about as long as you have but haven't seen as much success. I've had some victories though. I think the thing to take from it is that persistence is necessary when tackling your credit. Good job!
PolarBearnCO
Best thing any of us can do is make sure we're paying our bills on time every time. If we can do that for the rest of our lives, we will never be in this situation again. That's "repair!"
