ggluvbug
The CA told my husband that the old med. debts they have are not subject to SOL b/c they are from a state funded hospital. Is there any truth to this. From what I can find, everything in MS is pretty much 3 years.
razr
I don't know the laws in your state. However, I do know that CAs are the biggest freaking liars of all time. Don't talk to them on the phone.-r
IHateCAs
You said you are from MS. The CA is not lying. SOL does not attach to debts created by municipalities.
cajunbulldog
Government debts do not have a sol.Contact the hospital for a status of your account.
ggluvbug
Thanks for that info. I have a feeling this company is a JDB so I don't think they are going to be able to verify. And yes, I know not to talk to the CA--but my husband doesn't seem to understand when I spell it out to him that they are lying manipulators. But, that is another topic. So, should I wait for validation before I contact the hospital or wait until after the CA sends me something?
