aadam101
I just wish this all made more sense. My EQ jumped to 624 today. The only thing on it is a $1200 crap one charge off. There are 0 inquiries and I now have only one address listed. Oddly enough it is still the worst looking of my reports. The other two have one $300 charge off but MUCH lower scores. Where is the logic?
razr
The only thing that matters are FICO scores, the FAKO scores really have no meaning.-r
aadam101
I know. I haven't pulled my Fico's yet since I don't really have a reason to. I don't have any positive TL's at the moment. Once I get some I will check my FICO once in a while
jetscarbie
One thing you should consider doing is opening a secured credit card. You need some positive on your credit report.
Sobe420
Right now I have 16 positive accounts and 19 negatives. Tons of inquiries and different addresses. I cannot get any of the addresses deleted. How do I get the inquiries off? Also, my highest of the three scores is a 567. What will be the best way to get that one above 600?? Sobe420
OK, when I follow the instructions I do not see any Inquiries on EQ, does that mean I have not had any? Which I know for a fact this is not true at all. I have seen so many CR web sites and do this and dispute. Which was in the best? Where can I get the bang for my money? I need to work on all three.XP 567 EQ 544 TU 531My problem with inquiries is I got stupid. I started getting approved for stuff and then dumb me started applying left and right. So now I need to figure how to get that off my credit. Also, I saw an CA run my credit every month I never authorized that? So, where do I go. I am so new at this and reading that last thread confused me even more because I do not see anywhere on EQ to dispute inquiries.

I am so new at this and reading that last thread confused me even more because I do not see anywhere on EQ to dispute inquiries. When you go to this site, https://www.econsumer.equifax.com/co...online_dispute , enter in your zip code. On the next page...@ the very top (below "Welcome to Equifax Online Dispute"), click on "If you do not have a confirmation number, click here to start your investigation". In the Investigate Item #1 box, for creditor's name, enter in the creditor who pulled your report. In the Acct# box, enter in "Inquiry DATE" (DATE is the date the report was pulled; an example would be "Inquiry 1/24/07"). Then check "not mine". Do this for up to 10 inquiries @ a time, I think. At the bottom of the page, click "send mail"...and then be on your merry way. Go back and follow the instructions as EarthAngel describes, She did an awesome job. hope it helps. Sobe420
Also, I have a lawyers office pulling my CR very month. How do I stop that or once I dispute it it will go away?
chilton1
yes, you can remove the equifax inquires this way. The jackass lawyer is poisoning your credit. Each time they do a pull just go back and repeat the dispute as Earthangel outlined.Note: This is only for Equifax. TU you can bump. So run along and dispute them. if they are not removed in 24 hrs, then repeat the process and they should be gone by the second time. Let me know how it works for you. Sobe420
May I ask what you mean by bumping TU?
chilton1
May I ask what you mean by bumping TU?Bumping: When you have a credit monitoring service and you pull your credit report every day the inquires on the report (equifax and Transunion) will eventually be removed. How fast these inquires will fall off depends on the size of your file. This usually takes a while, for some people 45 days or more. Most people here use Truecredit to pull their report every day. If you do a search on "bumping" you will find more info on the topic.

I'm just curious about what will happen to my Credit score when I don't have ANY TL'sCrown Jewlers will authorize an account with no credit check. I got a $1500 CL. You may not need jewlery, but it's a positive TL. The downside(s) are: 1) you have to send in a down payment, and 2) They don't report until you have purchased something. But, for me it was necessary to improve my scores.
