750bound
First, of all I just wanted to say that CIC is absolutely wonderful. I have learned so much in the last few weeks about credit repair, the importance of utilization, and etc. I've been telling all of my friends, and family members that I thought would find all of this information useful. Everyone has gotten bitten by CIC bug. I'm on here daily, a couple of times of day to see what tidbit I can learn and apply. Speaking of application, that is the key you must take what you learn and try it out. Trust me the advice has worked. I've used the site to be able to get some new credit cards to help me rebuild (Macys, Walmart) my credit and I'm well on my way. I wanted to document some of my successes so that I wouldn't forget and maybe encourage anyone who has not tried some of the tips to JUST DO IT.TransUnion - I've disputed some items on my credit report and awaiting the investigation results (FAK0 07/2007 - 611, FICO - 586)Experian - I've disputed some items on my credit report: (FAKO 523, FICO - 586) **1 Item was removed **4 items remains on report (Now I'm preparing my MOV)Equifax - I've disputed some items on my credit report (FAKO - 537, FICO 463) **4 items removed **4 items remains on report (Now I'm preparing my MOV)Eventhough I had 4 items removed it only affected by score by 14 points (FAKO). I'm awaiting to get an score watch alert from myfico, and hopefully it has helped my actual FICO score a little more that 14 points, but at this point I'll take what I can get.UPDATE: Equifax FICO went up 64 points now its 527Up...Up....and Away to 750 I go.......
