rreed
Alright So I just got all three of my credit reports. I have seven collections on two of them and eleven on the other one. I forgot the order or I would mention it, moving on all simple stuff cable bill here phone bill here all of them are with CA now but here is one I really wanna take care of because I believe this was an apartment my dad got (we have the same name and I believe it got on my report) and I might have dunno co-sighed for his apartment. This is how it looks like COLLSVCS NEV Account No.: XXXXXX Original Creditor: 09 COURTYARD CENTRE APTS Responsibility: Individual Condition: Derogatory Original Balance: $993 Balance: $712 Date Opened: 09/09/2004 Date Reported: 05/11/2006 Now I start of by sending DV letters out to the CB right? then wait for the thirty days see if it got deleted or if verifed then I send off a DV letter to the CA right? can anyone provide a link to a sample letter what to say to the CB and CA, I have no other information on that matter but for what I see on my CR. thanks everyone! I will be posting as time goes along with my effort on fixing my credit!!
chilton1
Welcome, I hope you have a pleasant journey. No you do not send DV to the credit bureau. You send DVs (CMRRR) to collection agencies. When you get the signed Green card you dispute with the Credit reporting agency (TU, EXP, and/or EQ)

rreed
Ok, so send my first DV letter to the CA then send a dispute letter to the CRA? or do I wait the thirty days and if nothing then send a dispute letter to the CRA? This is where I get confused I don't know where to start... But from what I'm reading send off DV to CA then send a dispute to the CRA, SO! if im getting this right I make out my two letters tonight, and mail them tomrrow one to the CA and one to the CRA. I will be sending these off via fedex express (joys are working for fedex pretty much get express shipping for free)
saramorgan
I have the same question as well. I have my letters to the CRA drafted but wasn't sure if you send them both letters at the same time (CRA and CA). Wishing you lots of luck! Then wait until they (CA) have signed for your letter and then send your dispute letter to the CRA.
