egg
How about this for a roller coster ride. On July 13 my TU report had been cleaned up quite a bit an my score was at 724. I applied for Hooters and Seamiles cards and Cap One reinserted an account that was closed in 10-2001 with a new closing date of 7/2007. My score dropped huge to 504 on 7/30. I instantly fired off letter disputing the reinsertion as well as a collection that was being double reported for SW Bell. Pulled the score again today and it is now up to 652. Cap one is gone again and now beyond the 7 year reporting time so I hope it stays away. That's right--dropped 120 points and then gained 150 back. Sounds more like the stock market than a credit score. (All scores are fico)

Are you back where you are now or are you still missing a lot of points?
Amerikaner83
I think OP meant to say original score was 624. Then the math would be correct.
