TrueCredit - "Credit Bureau not responding" then locks me out

Recommended Posts

yeah...I've experienced this a # of times...I think a lot has to do with system traffic...e.g. bunch of people trying to login, bureau doing maint on its system, etc. typically I wait about 4 hrs. if that doesn't wk. I try the next day (but not during lunch time -- a high traffic time)...

They locked me out, and I am still locked out.

My advice to anyone with this service is, DON'T call in to complain,

They just close your account.

I guess they figure

you are not worth the $12 (to $15) a month if you complain.

Sprint did the same thing with 1000 of their clients, just cut them off because

they complained to much

Yep, after call number 4, they closed my account and said they'd send me a "coupon" to re-open it in 24 hours. This sucks.

As far as I know, TC is the ONLY public service that lets you pull all three daily. All others are only "members only" perks of some banks, cards, etc.

What can I do?? Never check my TU CR again????? Pay for 3x the money for 3x the subscriptions at each CRA???? It boggles the mind.

Go to Transunion.com and pull a new credit report. You dont need a confirmation number. Just follow the procedure to dispute you will get a new report.

YOu know experian.com you need a confirmation number. Equifax you are on your own. Good luck SAW this willbe a very long 24 hours.

Transunion has locked me out of the back door. Equifax has a back door as long as you don't subscribe to any of their products. More info is available over at creditboards on the back doors of the CRA's. Lots of people are starting to get locked out of Experian's back door of late. Use it sparingly. I shouldn't think you would need to go there more than once per month when you know everything has reported for the period.

TC acts weird for me alot. I get locked out for about 2 to 3 days then I am able to get back on.

TU or EQ will send me a letter saying they deleted something and it never Updates on my TC reports. This last time it took over 2 weeks for the delete to finally show. I am flying blind with TC's reports sometimes.

EQ sent me a new updated report in the mail the other day. There were two accounts that they deleted and one new account was added on. Not on TC though. It was all the same.
