Welcome to CIC! As a newbie myself I think I can say that the first thing you need to do is try your hand at disputing all negative information ( paid collections, medical collections etc) with the CRAs. If the creditors cannot verify the account the CRAs are obligated to delete this information.

This is a start...There are a lot of knowledgeable people on these boards who can offer a greater insight but based on whether the accounts remain on your reports would dictate your next steps in your road to credit power!

Good luck!

HTH!

I've been reading and taken notes, it's been alot of help

where i'm stuck at is if I need to address my older accounts that are due to drop off in a few weeks and confused as to if they are even scheduled to be removed:cry:

You may want to review your reports more carefully. Experian usually provides the DOFD and the reporting clock starts. 7 to 7 1/2 years later it should be removed. If you notice different reporting times, alert the CRAs if they don't check or verify that is a clear violation and you can use this as leverage.

Good Luck!

its the small victories that make it worthwhile!
