SecretAgentWoman
I got CSC telling me that my request to lift a fraud alert can take up to 60 days to process...
aadam101
Ugh! I have a 7 year FA on my report. I plan to remove it at some point. I hope it doesn't take that long.
SecretAgentWoman
After TWO written letters, and a FAXed request, all spanning a month's time, all with copies of my DL & SSC included, they just NOW sent me a letter asking for...get this...copies of my DL and SSC. If it weren't me, I'd find this funny. I am now going to price bazookas so I can blow up the CSC building here in Dallas...

If only... just goes to show the low level of intelligence employed by these agencies.. they walk around with the heads up their arses and clearly do NOT want to do anything that would help the consumer. SecretAgentWoman
This just in...A building in Downtown Dallas housing CSC Credit Services has been inexplicably covered in sticky, pink, sweet-smelling goo. A small man named Joe was spotted fleeing from the scene...
Methuss
You can always mix up a batch of Dragon's Breath (a chemical stink-bomb agent that is so nauseating that it is used for riot/crowd control) and dump it on their building from a charter plane. SecretAgentWoman
STILL haven't lifted, I called, they said it will happen shortly, but they don't know when. Driving me nuts. :evil:FIRST request was sent 7/18, second 7/31, fax was sent 8/8...it's now 8/29.
aadam101
Shouldn't this be considered innacurate information? They certainly can't prove that you requested it because you didn't!
MotivatedFocus
PM me if you'd like a link for a bazooka for sale on craigslist. I think they'll take paypal. What was the reason they placed a fraud alert? I just sent in numerous not mine disputes and I'm wondering if that's the cause for yours. I'm wondering if they really do that so they can ignore your persistent and legitimate efforts to correct your credit.
SecretAgentWoman
48 days and counting since I sent my first request to CSC to lift the Fraud Alert...Isn't this inaccurate info? Shouldn't this count in the 30 days required to investigate? UGH!

SecretAgentWoman
A FA will be under the comments section of your report and will actually say "Fraud Alert - contact consumer at XXX-XXX-XXXX blah blah blah..."
