damons
On my credit report I have two collection agencies reporting negative information. Does someone have a sample letter so I can mail it to the collection agencies to have them remove the negative information? I searched but couldn't find one. Thanks in advance. bigboy27
Are they paid? If they were dispute them with the CB and they might come off.If they aren't paid then you need to negoiate a pfd probably.

imdoingitright
what kind of letter are you looking for? Are they paid collections? If they are paid collections sending a letter to the ca is a waste of time. they already have your money, they aren't interested in helping you. if they aren't paid then you would want to send a pfd letter. if they are paid I would send a Goodwill to the oc. do a search for "goodwill" or "pfd" depending on your situation. damons
The thing is I never had dealings with these agencies. They never contacted me by either letter or phone. Both are form 1998 & 2000.

Both are form 1998 & 2000.if they are truly from 1998 and 2000 then I believe they can not still be reporting on your cr, they are older then 7 years. Dispute them with the cra as to old to report. I believe the SOL in NY is 6 years or am I thinking NJ. Check out this website:http://www.cardreport.com/laws/statute-of-limitations.html
