Call due to BB report - now what?

Yesterday, I had a situation that brought me kind of down. Some of you might know about it. Oddly enough, it was on an account with BofA that I met with NACA yesterday about. No luck there, but 8/7/07 I had reported them to the BBB, FTC and was filling out the AG so I could send them a ITS letter as I read SAW posted a while ago.

My guts for the ITS was the SCRA which is an up in the air dispute. I guess they don't know that since MBNA did the changing. Anyway, I have a message from the VP of BofA on my machine.

WHAT SHOULD I SAY? LOL. Now my inner childhood ignorance comes out.

1. They have reported my report innacurately multiple times over the year. I see no amount of fine listed so is this a per incident or just a one time violation?

2. If the dates are different and the amounts are different is this one violation per account or per CRA or... how does that work?

I don't intend to be rude and threatening, just knowledgable. I will speak to him assuming this account should be protected by SCRA.

Has anyone ever had this happen before? I feel great! LIke I am getting somewhere, I am just afraid to call him back. LMAO. Maybe I will get easy results on the phone. Fortunately, I can record the conversation in my state.

Hi, just tell them they are reporting inaccurate information and have verified it with the three CRAs multiple times. This is a viloation of the FCRPA. Ask them to delete it and the matter ends here. Ask that they send you a delete letter.

The fact that the VP called you back means they are at least a little concerned. Keep the call short and sweet. Don't try to quote the law or name a number of violations.
