lsp29
statue of limitations! how can i found out?
isislc
South Carolina SOL is 3 years across the board. Just dispute the account with them not DV. Since it's obviously past the 30day dunning letter they don't have to respond to a DV, dispute they must or it's an automatic violation. Then dispute with the CRA again. soulthoughts
should i call or write? would it simply state that the SOL are 3 years in my state and please remove it from my CR'sThe SOL has nothing to do with reporting. The debt can report for 7 years + 180 days. The SOL is simply a defense should this ever go to court.

soulthoughts
I just reread my original reply. The SOL is determined by the DOFD so it does have something to do with reporting if you want to see it that way. First move is DV them.
