SOL Expired - should I DV to get off Credit Report?

Recommended Posts

I'm still receiving letters from CA, so I've just sent the Cease & Desist letter due to SOL expiring. Should I send them the DV letter to see if I can get them off my credit reports?

It's worth a shot? Is it a CC account, if so, are you going on the assumption that it's a written contract to determine the SOL?

It is a credit card account, but I figured it was an open-ended account. I live in Texas and they are all 4 years, so I think I'm okay. As long as they don't use the credit card's state.

They can use the state you lived in when you got the card or the state you reside in now. They are likely to use the state you live in now.
