mrprofesisonal32
I disputed a couple items on my credit report with Experian. In the comments is says "Account information Disputed by consumer (Meets requirement of the Fair Credit Act)" . Do's this mean its going to be removed or what?? I cant seem to get a humon at Experian. Can some-one help me?? Thanks
breathing_easier
It means only that the credit furnisher is complying with the FCRA and reporting your tradeline as disputed, which it is. Once the final determination is made in response to your dispute, either verified or not, the comment should be removed.
