I disputed a couple items on my credit report with Experian. In the comments is says "Account information Disputed by consumer (Meets requirement of the Fair Credit Act)" . Do's this mean its going to be removed or what?? I cant seem to get a humon at Experian. Can some-one help me??

Thanks :confused::!:

It means only that the credit furnisher is complying with the FCRA and reporting your tradeline as disputed, which it is. Once the final determination is made in response to your dispute, either verified or not, the comment should be removed.

I wasn't being a wise a$$ (in case that's how you took it.) Just letting you know that people on the boards are here to help, but aren't going to want to be writing the same stuff over and over. The info IS here. Maybe someone else can post a link for you.

Good luck!

Do an exact search on "reported by subscriber". There's a good one that was started on 8/15. I would post the link, but my comp is screwing up!
