simplysilky
Anyone heard of this? I just got this in the mail. Its a "No Money Down Pre-Qual" letter for Cherokee Chrysler Dodge Jeep. The letter has a blank check on the bottom and all I have to do is call with an PIN number, then go to the dlr and pick out a car between 7500 & 40,000...2001 to 2007 year. There is no down payment. The only stips is that if you are trading in a veh, it has to be paid off.
samuelson2005
Is it from a cc company you have credit with? What is the interest they're offering? It sounds fishy to me. I'd do some research.
lovebug5
I get at least five of those letters daily. No joke. If I would've ripped off all of the checks at the bottom and kept them for sentimental value, I'd look like I had a pretty hefty amount of money just sitting aside waiting for me. Pre-Qualified does not equal Pre-Approved, as you probably already know. And these dealerships (along with the financing companies they are partnered with for people like "us") get hundreds of people in their doors holding blank checks that cannot even be cashed because financing has not been pre-approved. There is no financing...So in the end, it's a ploy to get you into their dealership...And into a high-interest rate loan where you're basically bending over and coughing. They're ridiculous!
