Master Debator
I recently sent a GW to Drive Financial requesting they remove 3 30 day lates from 2 yrs ago, i even had a recommended contact person (CEO) that i sent it to who had deleted 30 day lates before for another person on herei explained to him that i was layed off and then the vehicle they are financing was almost totaled during hurricaine Rita, and that i had spoken to the CS dept during that time and was paying as much as i could during that time, and that the CS reps had said they would not report it as 30dys late if i kept paying "something" and kept letting them know what was happeningbut no luck, i had a really good feeling about it, i just knew it would work, i thought if any GW had ever worked that one should have, especially since it was trueshould i just keep sending GW letersguess it cant hurt

conner
I would probably try again, maybe to a different address if they have one. I just feel like it totally depends on whos hands it gets in.
whocares
Maybe find someone higher up in the company, I would mention this was an act of God or nature beyond your control...I would also tell them I have recommended friends to use their service...butter them up a little more.It can't hurt...I wish you luck
elyse449
I'm sorry your GW letter didn't work. I do agree that you should consider sending it to another person. The bad thing about using someone that is recommended is they start to feel like "word got out" and so than they won't help... So, yeah--maybe someone else. Good luck.Elyse

Master Debator
i have decided to retool and resend my letteri simplified it and at the same time tried to sound even more like a victim without being too whiney, i also dumbed it up a bit and tried to more clearly lay out my situationI'm also sending it to the VP of Servicing at the corporate address this time and only addressed to him not drive financiali sent my previous letter to drive financial at the billing address, and put attn: john smithi had been given the previous contact name from someone on this forum who said he was a VP, but i was unable to find his name associated with drive anywhere onlineill post my results
redbank
did you try any of these names on here? http://www.drivefinancial.com/about/fact_sheet.aspx
stefdr
This is the person I have had success with, we had a go around with some serious nutcase emails from me about a car I co signed for and the dealer sent in the paperwork with just my name to make sure he got the financing. A couple of payments were showing late, but this gentleman helped me in getting the lates removed.Frank Airehart <FAIREHART@drivefinancial.com>
