wdspeedbump
i got one of those new thingies you jab into your laptop and you're online anywhere in the u.s. after struggling with hotel "wireless" sites when i travel, i just gave up.then i found out about these "pc cards", and got one. i am posting from the tailgate of my pickup in the parking lot of an oakland ,ca shopping center where i'm working. cool beans. i'm sure there's security issues, and big brother is listening, since it's basically a cell phone, but this is neat! best part? the company is paying the $60/month bill. zfire
Too neat. Love it when the bill is paid.DD has something that she says will even adapt to the PC in the house. She got it from sprint. I saw the first bill and it was $106. So why is yours so cheap? divemedic
I have a Razr for a cell phone, which is a data capable phone. I got the USB cable for the phone, and I connect with an unlimited data plan ($15 a month) added to my cell phone bill. It is slower than cable (about dial up speed) but it works anywhere I have cell service.
