How do I make a counterclaim?

When I answered a summons recently, I make an ,admittedly, extremely vague counterclaim tacked on to the end of the answer. The lawyers now have a "motion to vacate" or for me to provide more info. THey send me some legalese document that said something about my not having jurisdiction. Does that mean that I need a lawyer? It is better to make a counterclaim as opposed to filing a seperate suit? They have violated the FDCPA, and FCRA.

ANy ideas or opinions are greatly appreciated.

Is it a violation of the FDCPA if I send a DV letter, unsolicited, the the CA and they continue with collection activity without responding?

(If anyone would like more info on my situation, please see my other post)
