Moriah4
Hello and Welcome! They can sue you whether or not you submit a DV. You didn't say if it is showing on your CR or not or if you think its yours or not. Is it in SOL or not We might be able to help more with more info.Moriah
NeedingDebtRelief
Thanks for responding, I am sending the DV today, certified as requested. Yes both debts are mine and I did try settling in the past. They were asking for more than I could afford then. Now with double the amount paymentNow when I called the CA Unifund, I was told they purchased the account and did not have to settle. As far as the MBNA was assigned to a second law firm/CA a little over a month ago. Is it too late to send them a DVL:(Has anyone every heard of Settlement Forum online88-). I tried using them, they were only after a CC# and personal information, so I didn't bother to answer. charlanyc
Its not too late. As Moriah said, they can sue you regardless and they may be planning on suing. Send them your letter to go on record as disputing. What was in the letter they sent you 30 days ago?
