egg
Palisades has re-inserted a Providian collection on my account. They now state that the account was opened 20 years prior to actual opening of account--When I was 12 years old. I have disputed the trade line as inaccurate information and sent dv to Palisades. If they try to change the date of opening to another date are they reaging the account? The are only reporting on one CRA and have gone away at the other two, but seem to stick here. I would like to get rid of them.

razr
Well, did you have a credit card when you were 12?!-r
egg
Are you kidding. My dad was a pay cash for everything guy. Back before applications were needed for gas cards he was sent a gas credit card in the mail and promptly threw it away in the burn pile. He finally applied for a card when he was in his late 60's because he needed it to rent a car.
