I got a paid collection removed from TU in July and I look today and notice that it's back on there. Aren't they supposed to notify me 5 days before? If so, who is, TU or the collector and what do I do about it?

I believe they have to notify you within 5 days AFTER reinsertion. So, I would wait 6 or 7 days, if no notification then they have broken the laws and you will have grounds for removal. And, it is the CRA, not the collector who is responsible for this.

FCRA 611
