Does TU Restrict Online Disputes

I've also found that if you have been banned from using TC products, you can no longer dispute on line anymore. Just my current observation

The legality of this is in question currently. The FCRA states that CRA's must provide electronic reports IF they are available. In this case electroinc reports are available to everyone BUT us. I"m not a lawyer but this smells like a violation.

Congress gave consumers written instructions to be followed by the CRAs and even gave them the "why"

§ 602. Congressional findings and statement of purpose [15 U.S.C. § 1681]

§ 609. Disclosures to consumers [15 U.S.C. § 1681g]

§ 610. Conditions and form of disclosure to consumers [15 U.S.C. § 1681h]

(2) Disclosure in writing. Except as provided in subsection (B),

(B) Other forms of disclosure.

(1) In general. If authorized by a consumer, a consumer reporting agency may make the disclosures required under 609 [§ 1681g]

(A) other than in writing; and

(B) in such form as may be

(i) specified by the consumer in accordance with paragraph (2); and

(ii) available from the agency.
