myscoresawful
It's not showing yet, but I have a feeling it will be soon.Target has been calling my cell phone but because it's my cell phone and I thought it was a promotional something or other, I haven't returned the calls, hey, peak minutes are peak minutes.Anyway, I get a letter in the mail box yesterday that I am one payment past due and the next one is due the 19th of this month. It was dated the 7th, but I just got it Saturday. The people who can help are not there on weekends and by the time I got home from work, it said their office had closed and call back tomorrow morning....etc.I found the money order that I mailed them for last month. (I hate giving anyone my checking acct info right now).Anyway, the one for this month should be there, but it isn't going to be enough to cover last months, so they will still (or the computer) will report me as 30 days late very soon, I know.I don't know where the money order is, if they just never got it or posted it somewhere else.I've worked hard to not have any lates this past year, is there anything I can do? SugarNspice
I would call them and explain to them the situation. I've never had a problem dealing with target regarding lates. Just ask to speak to a supervisor. I had quite a few 30 lates with them and was able to get them all deleted. The first time I spoke with a supervisor, and the second time I called he told me they already waived lates fees and updated my lates showing on my CR as a courtesy. I asked to speak to a supervisor and he came back on the line in less than 30 seconds and deleted everything and updated with the credit bureaus. daveyblue
My understanding with TARGET is that they do not report 30 day lates to CRA's. Found this out when I ran behind with them. Must be true because I had a few with them and the never showed. Customer service rep stated that they start reporting when you run into those 60 day lates. Tazjeepcj7
You should be able to get a copy of the paid money order from the issuer.
sgip2000
I know you said you don't like giving your checking account number out, but you can access your account and make payments through the Target website. If you pay early enough in the day, it'll post the same day.
