Connie
Hi All,I received a letter from an attorney representing Citibank today wanting me to call them about offering a settlement. What's curious to me is on 8/15/07 I had a summary judgement hearing with them..the last phase of the suit against me I guess. During the hearing I mentioned I needed more time to contact a lawyer, but the judge told them to send him the order. I have been waiting on pins and needles ever since thinking any day I would be getting something in the mail about garnishing my wages. ( I would be able to fight that since I am head of household and live in Fl. )Does anyone have any idea though why the attorney suing me wouldn't have just sent the order to the judge and get the judgement against me instead of sending me a letter to settle? I find that very odd. Any replies would be appreciatedConnie
