I have OSI collecting for a 100.00 on my credit report. I tried setteling(pay account in full and you delete off my credit) with them they sent me back the letter saying no agreement because I owed them 200.00(which is 100 per ER visit and I was in the ER twice). So then I sent them another agreement saying I will pay you 125.00 for full delete then 75.00.

I never heard from them and then all of a sudden they were gone off my credit report.

Today I pull my credit and find them for two accounts on EXP. They are both for 100.00 each.

I have tried calling the hospital billing and they will not do anything since the "accounts" are in collections.

So what do I do? If I pay OSI the money they will just put a paid collections on my credit. Do I call the hospital and keep talking to someone until they take the account back from collections and accept my payment? Threaten with HIPPA, since when I dvd OSI they had all my medical info?

My scores were on the way up and now OSI is going to screw me over and drop my scores!!!

PLease Help any advice is greatly appreciated!!

I will tell you that OSI has actually been a good experience with me for my collections they had. I would contact them again and try to work something out before going to the hospital, at least one more time. When I contacted them I was able to send a partial payment and they deleted with no questions asked. If you still go the way with the hospital, tell them you need to speak to one of the financial specialists. If it hasn't been THAT long, they ARE allowed to bring debts back from the CA as long as they have their supervisor's permission. Otherwise, you can follow the medical collections link in my siggy for more info.
