True Credit Reporting

A new collection account has recently appeared on my TC (shows on all 3)report as you have probably seen me complain about in other posts..

Today I was investigating the report again, and realized that I overlooked this statement listed in the Trans Union Remarks Section:

[TransUnion] Account information disputed by consumer, meets FCRA requirments.

LOL.. What does that mean? How do they know they meet the FCRA requirments? That is not 100% true anyway, because they did not provide me with the correct information.. Should I be at all concerned with this?

The statement is to let people viewing your report know that you dispute(d) the information, and that the statement meets FCRA guidelines. I don't believe it has anything to do with the actual investigation.

This appeared on all the TLs I disputed...until they were gone.
