Big Time Posted October 31, 2007 Report Share Posted October 31, 2007 Discover can probaly prove their case, but you should still file a general denial, which the court clerk can help you with. It is a simple form in CA that you can fill out. I think it costs $185 to answer.That will give you more leverage to work out a payment plan unless you dispute their claims. In the meantime, if you are employed and and have EAP program, you can get a free 30 Min consultation with a lawyer in your area to help with all this. But get your list together when you call.
