romadstud
ok guys... this one's the kicker...i had a payment arrangement with apex financial to get rid of my last bit of debt... (finally!!) the account was more or less a grand... so i make the first payment... i arranged an auto withdrawl from my checking... i know... i know... bad idea... so after the first payment, they didn't take the second... and after the third wasn't collected, i called this guy and asked him what was going on... he stated that my account must have been sold and that he didn't know the status of it and had to find out... he said that he would call me back... now he won't return my calls and i don't know how i can rid myself of this debt, considering that they were and still reporting "kd" on my cr regardless of payment arrangement... grrrr.... my question is.... how do i fix this?... what do i need to do to get this debt and this apex monkey off my back?... please please please help... this wonderful last remaining collection is preventing me from obtaining any type of housing... any help would be appreciated...

They will mark the debt up even more with interest because they know you have to pay it in order to get the house. 2 - NEVER give out bank account information. I would remove all money from that bank account and put it in a new one. 3 - Find out who the original creditor is. If you truly own this debt and want to pay it they might be able to help you. Tell them NOTHING about the house. Search this forum for "PFD" or "pay for delete" and read the posts.4 - Have you tried disputing with the CRA's? 5 - NEVER speak to a CA on the phone! If you happen to answer and it's a CA, tell them all communication must be in writing and then hand up.
