How did you dispute it?

Some people disagree, but every once in a while (more than that for me), calling the CRA and calling a human being's attention to an obvious error can get it deleted on the spot. Simply remind them that a Chapter 13 bankruptcy only stays for 7 years and not 10, and therefore should have come off your report a year ago.

If you get nowhere with the first rep, ask to speak to a supervisor. If you still get nowhere, dispute via certified mail.

Calling them doesn't hurt. I've had several things deleted immediately that way... just make sure to be nice, and to request that the deletion be verified in writing by mail for your records. You're also entitled to an updated report with the investigation results, be sure to ask for that too.

I'm not saying there's a guarantee you will succeed on the phone, but I'd start there for the possibility of instant gratification.
