thorice
I was just wondering does anyone know of a certain time period in which the CRA get the most disputes. I was told that it's best to dispute between November thru January, because this is the holiday periods and that's when majority of people dispute. I was told that the CRA receives so many disputes between this time frame, that they have a hard time validating them within the 30 day time period and have no choice but to delete. What do you think?

Freak
Do they celebrate most of our holiday's in India?
analog_kid
Do they celebrate most of our holiday's in India?Ha! I don't think so. But those are just the people that call you anyway, they don't have any authority.I would think now would be the best time as well. I think the actual dates of the holiday are the only days exempt from 30 and 45 day time frames. I would imagine most places are closed longer than this. (I am!) merkurfan
wrong, 2 of the big 3 out source disputes. They have centers here that open and scan incoming mail, but the scanned copies get sent over seas.Makes you feel all warm and comfy huh? They call the best time to dispute the Christmas gift. However, it does not work as well anymore. The theory was that most people take a lot of time off between thanksgiving and the new years. it use to work, but I don't know. Then again, if we all send in our disputes, even if they are not short staffed they will be flooded with disputes! Donna47129
I'm sending mine in on December 10th.I know a collector (too bad they have none of my claims, lol) and he says they work on a skeleton crew during the holidays and a lot of people take off because of their kids being off school and shopping, etc. He said they don't have anyone else handle their business, it just gets handled when it's gotten to.So based on this knowledge, it's not gonna hurt me to dispute during that time, it's worth a shot. It's as good as time as any!So even if the CRAs outsource, some CA's don't.
