sj145
On Sept 13, 07 I disputed some items with the big 3. I got the updates and of course some things where deleted and some things where not. I am thinking about starting an investigation with the negatives that where not deleted and just needed some advice on how to do it.When I sent my initial letter to the big 3 I said that certain accounts were not mine but they came back verified. Should I use that the same argument when I do an investigation with the OC. Should I say this account is not mine and send me all of the statements. Thanks for your help

swirlgirl
Just say you saw the accounts on your CR and you need some type of documentation and account history in order to investigate and resolve the matter.
newbie7069
You need to read the link above about Disputing with Original Creditors. There needs to be something specific you are basing your dispute with, and you need to let them know what it is.Are all the TLs on each CRA reporting exactly the same? Are the dates right? Is on CR showing a 30 day late in May while another is showing it in June? Stuff like that. Go over each TL with a fine tooth comb.
