WickeDay
Ok, so now that I have made quite a jump in my progress with negative accounts, I am moving onto inquiries. I actually didn't have any until the last month and some of them I don't recognize. How do they factor into your credit score? Should I really worry about now disputing them? I've read a bit around here, but I don't really understand it.

I've read a bit around here, but I don't really understand it. Inquiries do hurt your score to some degree. Especially those recent pulls, like 3 within a couple of months. Something like that, alerts the creditors that you may be "credit hungry". I didn't think that they were a big deal until I got them off of my reports and my score jumped significantly.I bump using TrueCredit. Bumping only works for Trans Union. It doesn't work for Experian or Equifax, but my files are held by CSC and I dispute them and they delete everytime without fail. Hard to dispute with Experian, but I hear that all you have to do is put an alert on your file and you will be able to dispute with them.As you will find on this forum.........Experian is quite an evil monster....
