red1gtrubodsm
Does anyone have the Email or name of the CEO or "high up" at Portfolio recovery? or Americollect Inc. ? Im writing them to try to get them to honor their PFD signed letters that they have not deleted yet ( 6 baddies)
MadMonkey
Call them up and ask them who there legal council is in the state of Washington. If you have a strong PFD their lawyers will quickly resolve your problem. Its in there best interest to protect their customers. Also, have you threatened them with a law suit?Reported them to your AG's office?Filed a complaint with the FTC?Looked for an attorney that handles contig. cases in your state? The chances of actually getting an unpublished Email account of a CEO for a collection agency is slim, very slim. Chances are they won't look at them unless they actually know who the sender is, there advised by counsel not to.Same thing with mail that is sent to execs. Its a rare day that it actually makes it through the walls of buffers in place to protect them.
Amerikaner83
Just do a normal GW (goodwill letter)...I posted a few of mine last week...they were to a CA. Doing a little research an yield some great results... While MadMonkey is right, that the letters rarely actually get to the CEO...but I'm 2 for 3 on GW letters (2 for 2 to a CA).Edited to add:Portfolio Recovery - http://phx.corporate-ir.net/preview/phoenix.zhtml?c=135456&p=IROL-govmanageAmericollect - http://www.americollect.com/about_us.htm

Amerikaner83
well I have never dealt with those two, actually. My GW successes were CardWorks (providian) and Cred Protections Associates (Comcast bill). One got back to me within a month, the other never got back to me but deleted within two weeks. And i did NOT send CMRRR. Just normal mail.

red1gtrubodsm
follow up with real mail.Sure will. already had that planned. got the letters printed out already. just need to throw a stamp on them. its not important to cert return i dont think on a GW letter
Amerikaner83
exactly. It's a goodwill - a favor on their part. Sending a GW letter CMRRR is, IMHO counterproductive. The whole point of GW letter is to shmooze them, humanize the trials and situations and what not. CMRRR kind of defeats the purpose.
