brokeinok
Lawyer for the OC, not a JDB. Should their myriad of violations go on the summons answer as a counter claim or will I need to file the violations as a separate suit since the lawyers do not "own" the debt?? Ronin
personally, I filed in the same suit. make sure you read the entire rules of civil procedure for your state. the lawyers in my case are trying to make me look stupid because their mad im challenging them rather than rolling over and caving. the lawyer in my case also owned the debt even though they claimed they were hired by the OC. brokeinok
What have they done?See my other post about counting violations that you answered... they've done alot, but since they aren't a JDB and don't "own" the debt, I wasn't sure whether to put these things in a counter-claim or file a whole separate suit. brokeinok
Still wondering about this one? Anyone? I'm typing away on both the summons answer and the counter claim but I need to know whether I should merge my word documents!
Amerikaner83
I'd merge the two - personally. Maybe you can go to the court clerk and ask a hypothetical?
