irvingpiano
I have ample proof from 3 seperate creditors that Experian has not requested new information from them after I disputed the accounts via certified mail. This a blatant act of disregard and Experian must pay.One account involves a 30 day late status which my car loan company insists to me by phone fax and mail that I was never late. I have sent copies of this information to Experian and they responded refusing to reinvestigate my frivolous requests. We will see who the Judge decides who indeed has been frivolous. I have sued those A**HOLES and WON! I also have 2 pending suits against them now! It's amazing that they are so stubborn when the other bureaus aren't. It's always Experian that I have to go to court with.I cannot wait until someone files a class action against them. I'M ALL IN!GO GET 'EM!!!!! MoonFairy
++Hello Everyone,I am new here and hope I don't post wrong, but if I am sorry. I just got my investigation results today from experian and I disputed exactly the same thing you did. Wash Mutal/Providian has lates even after my account was closed. They had some that said 120 days late. I disputed the lates with experian and the result was it remains. Well I called providian and they only keep records of the last 12 months and said I could pay 5 dollars for each statement. Which I said no. By the way there was not one late payment. Now Iam sending the OC a verification letter for my lates. I hope thats right. Anyway I will call Experian tomorrow to find out their verification method. Because if providen keeps records of just the last 12 months there is no way they verified anything.

Make sure yoyu have disputed with the cras first and then request an investigation from the oc.
MoonFairy
Thanks, I will send a letter to the OC to investigate. I talked to Experian today and they said they don't tell the method of verification. I would have to get that from the OC.
merkurfan
They are wrong. The FCRA says they have to tell you. It just takes a judge to get them to do it. (it's not suppose to)
Moriah4
Well guys some where on this board there was a magazine article that someone posted which I read that said Experian was owned by none other than Fair Issac could this be why they give such a hard time they don't want to mess up the scoring modle? To me it has certainly been food for thought.BlessingsMoriah

I talked to Experian today and they said they don't tell the method of verification. I would have to get that from the OC.Because they use a 2-digit code when they investigate (E-Oscar). When I took them to court for that, the judge basically laughed at them for not being more thorough with their investigation. He ruled in my favor in a heartbeat. Of course, I had proof from the OC saying tha the TL is reading wrong, but the problem is that XPN is a BEAST! They don't care about the law.
