TheRoadBack
I have now been booted from tc and now Privacy Matters. Now where is a banned soul to go?
merkurfan
Ex for the EX product that allows a daily pull, EQ for their product that allows a daily pull and the post off to send the required info to TU to freeze them.Thats what I told the idiots at TU when I called to try and get things corrected. When they said no, you can only do things by phone or mail I said no... I'll just put you on ice and refuse to do business with companies that rely on your information because I can't see any of it online. How much again do you get for selling my information via promotional inqs and when I apply for credit? kiss it good bye.I think you can get the EX for 5 bucks and the EQ for 10.. so in the end it's a wash over the TC 15 bucks.I know, I'll have to thaw them to get a mortgage. but thats about all I can think of that i really need them for. someonesomewhere
If you have an AMEX, CreditSecure (an EX product) allows daily pulls and you get all 3. However, you have to be an AMEX cardholder.SWMBO signed up. I'm thinking nows the time for me to PIF my old AMEX default and Oasis in to AMEX. merkurfan
Just to update, see the thread about a new daily puller in the same section as this post. EX is now offering a product that is basically AMEX creditsecure. it's not cheap, but it works. and they won't cancel you for tampering with their competitors system
someonesomewhere
Just to update, see the thread about a new daily puller in the same section as this post. EX is now offering a product that is basically AMEX creditsecure. it's not cheap, but it works. and they won't cancel you for tampering with their competitors system Thank merk! I signed up for CreditCheckTotal, CCT, and got my first *b* in 10 days.Do you know whether they let you *b* during the 7 day trial period?
merkurfan
beats me, it's a ex product, and I would have to thaw EX to sign up for it so they can verify my identity.I told them that was stupid. That pulling a report for myself is ALLOWED with a frozen report. And since they are the great Experian themselfs I KNOW they are listed as a soft pull on my EX report. So go get a copy and lets get this ID thing verified. (the soft gives them a "exisiting relationship" authorization to pull from my frozen report)Nope, thaw it and we'll let you in. I was also told I could not refreeze as they site would not be able to pull again. I had that same problem with PM123 so EX obviously has a issue in that department. jetscarbie
I have been banned from everywhere it seems. I'm not gonna bother signing up anywhere else for awhile. I am still a member of the FICO which is pretty crappy but every so often I'll just buy my reports or go the backdoor way in.
merkurfan
You won't get banned from the EX site. they think B* on TU and EQ is great! I am sure they are keeping statistics of the vanishing INQ's their customers are getting using their daily pullers..why might you ask? to show that the EX reports are better, more accurate. After all, EX inq's NEVER go away.. well.. 2 years 1 month later they do.
CleverCynic
ncidentityprotect.com is a daily puller as well. You can use any credit card when you sign up. The invite codes are in a sticky.
merkurfan
I had NDidentity.. that uses the TC system doesn't it? I wonder if I reopen the account if I could pull, or if TC has slammed that door shut on me too.
isislc
Well, that sucks. I'm still a member of PM and CD, no signs of banning yet. I also got some EX inqs bumped, no idea how it happened but it happened. I'm not gonna call and complain about it at least. Right now I have 1 TU, 11 of 16 EX left, and 0 EQ. Once that last TU inq bumps off, I should be seeing baddies bumping off of EQ again. I lost 2 judgments that way and a BK without having to dispute them. someonesomewhere
If you get banned from TU and it's resellers, these are your choices for daily pulls.http://www.creditchecktotal.comhttps://www124.americanexpress.com/cards/loyalty.do?page=creditsecure
CleverCynic
I still seem to be alive and well on NCidentity and PM123. Wow what an oversight... I've gotta be in the crosshairs!

merkurfan
There is also www.ChaseIDProtection.comIt is NOT a TC/Tu product. It uses choice point. I have been told it's a daily puller. have not checked myself.
Freak
I'm sure my day is coming on TC. This morning when I went to update, I got a message that said in effect: call us to verify your identity, and a CSR can unlock your report for viewing. I went back 20 minutes later, and chose the "update score" button instead of "update report" button with no problems. I didn't go through the entire process of the update. I am going to lay low for a few days, and just use PM.
isislc
There is also www.ChaseIDProtection.comIt is NOT a TC/Tu product. It uses choice point. I have been told it's a daily puller. have not checked myself. Not true hun, been there done that. Have been banned from there already because it IS a repackaged TC. But it's weird that PM and CD is doing this to people, I'm still live and active on both accounts and pulling twice daily for over 2 months now. I did sign up with different usernames on each account so they could be cross checking. Make sure your usernames are completely different when you move to different credit monitoring sites or from any message board you're at. Again, they could be cross checking your usernames and comparing the likeliness that you're the person frauding the system. I gotta laugh so hard when I see or type that because the CRAs refuse to correct incorrect information in our CRs but they accuse US of frauding the system. lmao
merkurfan
ya sure isislc? Not insulting you or anything. but over yander on cb they have been talking about the site I linked to. Chase has 2 id sites with similar names. but they are different. This is right on the main page of the site I linked too..ID Protection by ChaseSM features credit report information obtained from the three national credit repositories, Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax. Chase uses First Advantage Membership Services/First Advantage Credco (Collectively, “First Advantage”),I was wrong about choice point, it's CREDCO.. merkurfan
I signed up, they nailed my new union plus card for 11.99 and then told me to call customer service. so I did.I got a US based service rep!!!!!! she was soooo nice to me. Just for the record, you can't use their service if your reports are frozen. Gotta call in a few days and get my 11.99 back.

ISIS - you're not getting it babe.CIP (chaseidentityprotection.com) is still there - and still is a TU reseller.the other one (chaseidprotection.com) is DIFFERENT. Chase has TWO.
