sashim80
HELP!! Ok, so about a month ago I sent out this letter to Mazda...I recently pulled my CR and noticed that you are reporting a 30 day late in Jan 06. I have never paid my payment late, so Im not exaclty sure what is going on with this. As you can see, the whole car was paid off with no other lates proving my posotive payment history. I plan on making another purchase with Mazda within the upcoming months and I want to clear this up before doing so.They sent me this letter in return...Ok, so Im not sure what to do now. This was the one and only late and the car is paid in full right now. What wouls you say to this letter? Should I send out a Goodwill letter? And would I mail it to the same person those wrote me the letter? Is their a way to find more than one person to send my request to? I have been searching and searching online for ways to find contacts!! Anyone have any experience with Mazda? What do you guys think? THANKS sooo much!! sashim80
I was wondering where you got that from. Then I noticed my title, (I will see if I can fix that!!) LOL Ok, so its called Mazda American Credit. I think they are also Ford??? SORRY!
Amerikaner83
OK I changed the title for ya:pYeah I've heard bad things about Mazda credit...how old is the late again...? almost 2 years...IMO it's not affecting your scores that much any longer. You can always dispute with the CRAs as "never late"...but if they don't respond to the CRAs the whole TL could get deleted - and I assume that's the only baddie on that TL....might not want to risk it? sashim80
Wow, it is almost 2 years old isnt it. I dont think I want to loose this TL. This is hubby's and he has like NO credit history. Maybe I will just move on from it, and try and fix up his old Walmart account. He settled and paid it about a year ago. Its has some really bad lates. Im just sad I couldnt turn the Mazda into a PERFECT TL for him. THANKS for the advice!!
hopelesscred
I am dealing with them now...and they will not budge...I have a small $400 CO with them and they refuse to compromise...so we are at a standstill. You can try the CEO route but YMMV..As for me, I've got some violations but not enough to run to court but I may end up going--they are killing my scores and I need that act deleted..disputed once again, waiting for results. I will try an NDA combined and Restrictive endorsement next
