maybe i'm over excited about this, but i was really down about my dog. my 3year old dog went to the vet for stiffness in the joints & came out with his hind legs paralyzed & lord knows i don't qualify for care credit. i'm patient & praying.

What kind of dog is it? My Tucker (dachshund) went to the vet cause he was acting funny and the next day he was paralyzed. We brought him home and kept him kenneled all the time except to take him out to potty (which we had to do for him because he was paralyzed). We had to give him steroids and antibiotics and make sure he had complete rest. He got Pneumonia about 2 weeks later and almost died from that, but we kept on and were patient and it's been since May and he's almost 100% again. He's still a little wobbly in the back end and he runs funny, but he's a happy dog again!! I can get you a list of the medicines we gave him and we also treated him with water therapy. :)++

he's a shepard mixed w/ pitbull, he's overweight at 108lbs. the primary dr couldn't really give me a proper diagnosis, or explain his xrays. he prescriped him rimadyl & glyco flex III, with no other info. i literally had to harass him just to get him to help my dog. the vet was supposed to send me a differential letter yesterday and i haven't received anything. the vet initially said it was the anesthesia stopping leg movement, and give it a few days to wear down bla bla bla, now he's saying it might be hip displaysia, Disc Protrusion, Fibrocartilaginous Embolization and/or a combination of those things. i'm taking him to a neurologist today hopefully he can give me some real answers. YES, please list the meds u gave ur dog, & what he was diagnosed with, i will ask the vet about it.
