hangingon
I received two of those sneaky offers for a credit card on which they would put an old gas card bill. The offers were from the same company (Genesis), but on two different form letters and two slightly different (by one number) PO boxes and two slightly different "code numbers." I supposed this means that I should DV both of them? I don't get it........what's the point?
Robert Nashville/Savannah
I’m sure this is an error with their system (either a computer system or a human one). I’d have a little fun with it by pointing out just how stupid they are (they probably won’t get the point but it won’t hurt to make it anyway).Send one DV letter but send an “original” of the letter to each address and make sure your DV letter points out just how stupid their system is. Of course, I would also decline their “generous” offer of trying to put you into debt to get you out of debt – how nice of them.
