slimm77
I am not sure this i the right place for this postHelp, I need some type of clarification.Do you incur fiannce charges if your CC account is marked closed on the CR ? I have or "at least had" a CC account with Chase. Assumming that it was open and active because I am still recieving statements currently and that I perviously set up payment arrangements to decrease my balance. I recently called Chase to modify the payment arrangments and dicuss charges to the account with no activity and they told my account has been closed since 6/2007 but I still incur charges. How is that so ?? Also did not recieve a notice that it was closed. Are there any laws for protection against this ?
montanatim
It is possible that Chase closed your account to further charges. Since you still owe a balance, finance charges will accrue on the unpaid balance.
